CONMEN posing as 'water board' officials stole £1,000 in cash from an 88-year-old woman.
A man knocked on the door of the pensioner's home, in Wood Farm Road, Oxford,at about 3.20pm on Friday, claiming he was investigating a water leak, and while she was distracted a second man stole cash from a bedroom.
The first man was described as white, of medium build and aged in his mid 20s to early 30s, and was wearing a blue striped T-shirt with dark trousers. He spoke with an English accent.
