AN inquest has been opened into the death of baby who died in hospital at only five months old.

Konstantin Brundukov, from Oxford, died at the John Radcliffe hospital on September 7 this year after being found unresponsive at home.

His death was verified at the Headley Way hospital at 4.13am by Dr Halah Faris.

Oxfords Coroners Court heard on Wednesday last week (September 21) he was the son of businessman Sergey Brundukov and housewife Jane Brundukova.

Senior coroner Darren Salter opened the inquest and declared that the cause of death, following a post-mortem examination, is still under investigation.

A full inquest to declare the cause of death is due to take place on Wednesday, March 8 next year at 11.30am.
