Sir - Keith Mitchell again dodges the issue (Letters, April 25) - where are the extra 50,000 houses to go - needed in Oxfordshire by 2025? To a new town eco or not and if so where? By extending existing towns and villages yet again?
That solution will also imply many more private car journeys and schools places and shops, leisure facilities etc, as well as invading the surrounding Green Belt areas. Mr Mitchell has written off the brownfield sites, yet fails to tell us how our children and grandchildren are to afford houses in the future. Why the reluctance Mr Mitchell?
