Drinking someone else's fat, stapling your tongue to a piece of wood and having paintballs shot at your naked body are not the topics of conversation you might expect at the Oxford Union.

But they are bound to be raised when the stars of the television series Dirty Sanchez come to speak on Tuesday.

Welsh pranksters Pritchard, Dainton and Pancho, along with Englishman Joycey, will be talking to students at the historical debating society about their crazy antics.

Union president Ben Tansey said: "We want it to be a really fun event. The union is always trying to cater for as many people as possible and this is part of that.

"There are lots of students that are really keen to see them and it will make a nice break from the more serious debates."

MTV hit show Dirty Sanchez follows a group of friends who spend their lives pushing their bodies' pain thresholds in a bid to out-do one another.

Pritchard, 35, said when he first heard about the invitation to speak at the union he thought it was a practical joke.

He said: "I left school quite early and haven't got any GCSEs and here I am speaking to students from Oxford.

"I can't believe it, to be honest. I think we'll get a bit stuck if they start asking us any intelligent questions."

Rather than taking part in a debate on a subject it will be more of an Evening with..' event.

Mr Tansey said: "I think there will definitely be some unusual questions asked of them. I think people will just be really interested to speak to them about their careers and some of their finer moments."

The union president defended the decision to invite the Dirty Sanchez team as a break from the traditional image of the debating society.

He said: "I think the Oxford Union is a changing institution. It is important to keep the traditional elements strong but, at the same time, it is important to provide a platform for other people."

Pritchard, who has wrestled naked in a bed of stinging nettles and had a finger sliced off during one of their pranks, thinks students will be interested.

He said: "I imagine a lot of people will be quite shocked by some of the things we have got to say and some of our stories.

"But I think they will be interested to hear how we started out and became famous and have made it to where we are."

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME

The boys from Dirty Sanchez have performed some stunts that would make even the toughest person wince.

Pritchard said: "There was one time when we wrestled naked in a bed of stingy nettles.

"Now, I know that doesn't's sound too bad, but for 12 hours after I was in so much pain."

For Dirty Sanchez: The Movie they performed pranks based around the seven deadly sins.

This saw Pancho having liposuction in a clinic in Bangkok, Thailand, without any painkillers and the others drinking the fat that is sucked out.

Other pranks saw Pritchard attempting to break the world record for the most times a person is shot with a paintball gun.

He said: "They shot me so many times, I had bruises all over, but I thought it was worth it. When they told me the record was a joke I was so angry."
