FOR most people, four-foot bubbles floating over the garden wall is quite an unusual sight, but for neighbours of Felipe Gonzalez this is an everyday occurrence.

For his converted barn in Great Milton is the backdrop for his almost fairytale existence of creating bubbles, the bigger the better, for a living.

Mr Gonzalez has launched his own bubble sculpting company to share his love of the floating wonders with adults and children alike.

And he even shares his secret recipe with admirers of his work.

The 36-year-old father-of-one visits fetes, private parties and even weddings to demonstrate his bubbles of all different shapes and sizes, from square bubbles to exploding ones.

And his work has become so popular that Mr Felipe sells the giant bubble wands in shops in Oxford and on his website orangelobster.co.uk

Mr Felipe, who teaches bronze sculpting, said: "It started with me going to parks playing around with my wife and child.

"A crowd used to come up and then they started asking 'can I buy one?' so I started making them for sale. Then from there I started to go to different performances, birthdays, weddings and different venues like that.

"It's still just enjoyment but it's starting to become a career."

Mr Felipe teaches after school clubs at his four-year-old son Ryan's playschool in Great Moreton.

He said: "Everybody loves bubbles. Adults run around acting like children.

"I think the bigger the bubbles, the higher the age of the person is allowed to play with them.

"Children run around and it's great exercise for them."
