It could only happen on our roads.
Hollow Way, Cowley, Oxford, was widened late last year and now some bright spark has ordered the same bit of road to be dug up.
There seems to be no apparent reason as the hole that is now in the road has not been touched for more than a week.
Perhaps it is so the highways department can keep up with its annual budget.
