I read that Vale of White Horse District Council leader Jerry Patterson says that the new national bus pass cannot be used in the Vale before 9.30am.
In most council areas, it is not before 9am.
Mr Patterson says the Vale has "limited resources".
I am not surprised after councillors spent millions messing up the road system in Abingdon and digging up the square, relaying it to look no better than it did before, but with the trees missing.
Let's face it - most 14-year-olds are better at managing their budgets than the Lib Dems on the Vale council.
God help England if they ever govern the country.
