THE estranged husband of a former Banbury woman has been sentenced to 75 years in prison for her murder.
Curtis Brown, of Bay Terraces in San Diego, admitted killing his wife, Linda, and was sentenced on Friday, April 11.
The murder happened in San Diego, where the couple lived, on September 2, 2007.
Brown, 44, admitted kidnapping his estranged wife at gunpoint then shooting her five times and he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and the use of a revolver.
