A MAN has been arrested after a 20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in an alleyway off Southfield Road, Oxford, at about 2am today.
The woman was walking along the Cowley Road when a man came up to her from behind, threatened her and forced her into an alleyway off Southfield Road and assaulted her.
Det Insp Kev Elkins said: "We have arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with this assault, but I am appealing for anyone who may have seen a dark green 4x4 in the Cowley Road area or any of the adjoining roads last night to contact the police."
