Firefighters were called to a van fire on the B4437 near Charlbury Railway Station at 10.52am today.
One fire engine from Charlbury and one from Burford attended the scene and extinguished the blaze.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service said the van had a large liquid petroleum gas tank and added the cause of the fire was accidental.
