Girl Guides are gearing up for a fundraising mission which will secure their future for the next 100 years.
Didcot Guides are aiming to raise £10,000 to buy a 99-year lease on their headquarters in Laburnum Grove, Didcot.
The purpose-built base is used by about 250 Rainbows, Brownies and Guides each week.
Plans are under way for their main fundraising event, the annual May Fair at the Civic Hall in Britwell Road on Monday, May 5, between 11am and 4pm. Didcot mayor Bernard Cooper will judge the May Queen competition.
