I refer to the revised Stagecoach No 10 bus service, which will no longer serve Rymers Lane and Littlehay Road at Cowley, Oxford.
This was done without consultation or publicity.
I rang and asked for the reason. I was told it was because of the Oxford Brookes' double decker buses, which are used on the route from mid-evenings.
Surely we can be allowed to have the single-deck buses until then, given the number of people who use this service for work and the number of residents who use it to reach East Oxford Health Centre and the hospital?
Stagecoach should use single-decker buses instead of double-deckers, or ask Oxford Bus Company to provide a service.
Why was this done without consultation and with little publicity?
