Sir - I can reassure your correspondent from Islip (Letter, March 7) that his village has not moved farther away from Oxford in the last 80 years.
My neighbour, Mrs Bulpitt, and her sister walked to Webber's from Islip Road in Summertown. It seems that one vital word was omitted from an otherwise excellent article.
