A broken-down lorry caused four miles of tailbacks on the A420 this morning between Oxford and Swindon.
The incident happened near the Pusey turn before 7am, causing serious delays for drivers, with traffic tailing back as far as the A415 Kingston Bagpuize junction.
There were also delays on the A44 in Chipping Norton when high winds brought down a tree, blocking London Road both ways near the Summerton Place junction.
