Families at Barton can look forward with confidence to a better level of policing following the opening last night of their new police base.
It makes sense to have officers working on the Oxford estate instead of making regular journeys to and from Cowley police station.
The move will remind many of us of how policing used to be, with the old-fashioned village bobby. A case of going back to basics?
