A premium dessert shop is set to open next week and to celebrate the store will be giving away hundreds of free doughnuts.

Crosstown is an award-winning premium sweet treat destination which has 23 sites across London and a nationwide delivery service.

The company was founded in 2014 by JP Then and Adam Wills, starting as a street food stall, and specialises in n sourdough doughnuts, small batch ice cream, homemade cookies, chocolate and specialty coffee.

The Oxford branch of Crosstown will be the brand’s second store outside of London, following an opening in Cambridge.

Crosstown Oxford will open on September 9 in St Michael's Mansion, Ship Street.

To mark the opening, Crosstown will give away 500 free doughnuts from 12pm.

As well as this, 50 per cent of sales on September 9 will be donated to Homeless Oxfordshire.

Adam Wills, Co-founder of Crosstown, said: “We’re thrilled to be serving up fresh doughnuts, ice cream, cookies, chocolate, and coffee, as well as fulfilling event and catering orders to the people of Oxford.

“For the last 8 years London has been our home, starting with humble beginnings in 2014 as a market stall on Leather Lane, we’ve since grown to hold over 23 locations across London.

“In 2020, we launched our nationwide delivery across the rest of England, Wales, and lowland Scotland, since then we’ve seen a demand for Crosstown sweet treats up and down the country, resulting in us opening our first permanent store outside London in Cambridge last year and now Oxford.”

Crosstown Oxford can be found at 3 St Michael's Mansion, Ship Street, OX1 3DE be open between 8am – 8pm, everyday.
