This is the face of the man who set the fire that gutted his mum’s house.
Daniel Boore, 32, of Elm Close, Carterton, used a lighter and alcohol hand gel to ignite his bedding – then walked out of the property without first telling his mum about what he had done.
His mother found out about the flames upstairs when a neighbour knocked at her door, Oxford Crown Court heard.
Boore was jailed for three years yesterday, having pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to arson and possession of four steak knives. You can read our report from the sentencing hearing here.
Thames Valley Police has now released his custody shot.
