EMERGENCY services have blocked off a road in Bicester after a crash.

Witnesses have reported that Buckingham Road has been blocked off by Thames Valley Police in both directions due to a crash between a “bicycle and car on the junction to Southwold”.

People travelling past the area have reported the road has been closed since 8.15am today (Thursday, September 1).

On Facebook, an eyewitness said: “There has been an accident as far as aware. There are cameras in the road and blood.

“I hope everyone involved is okay. I haven't heard anything though and I'm in fairly close, right by Buckingham Road.”

It is reported that the road is closed from the Churchill Roundabout past Southwold turn.
