The superdump at the Redbridge travellers' site in Oxford (Oxford Mail, February 25) is one in many places in this part of Oxford which the council needs to spend money cleaning up.

I drive from Abingdon to Cowley business park every day for work and noticed recently the rubbish stuck in the hedgerows on both sides on the bypass between Redbridge and Rose Hill.

Sadly, the worst of it is supermarket plastic bags. It is not a nice impression of our historic city.
