AN animal sanctuary is hoping for find a new home for a three-legged cat.

Perry, a ginger and white FIV+ cat, is currently being looked after by Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary in Stadhampton after coming all the way from Tunisia.

He was adopted in the UK but unfortunately his previous home didn’t work out.

As well as having only three legs, Perry had also lost most of his tail. The charity had described him as a “confident lad” who is “actually a little bit anxious and holds on to those things that bring him comfort”.

The non-profit organisation is now hoping to find a new home for Perry which is adult-only, indoor only (with access to a catio preferably) and willing to give him time to settle. He could also possible live with another FIV+ cat.

Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary said: “In his previous home, Perry was particularly vocal and we can confirm that he certainly loves a chat.

“On top of this, Perry had become aggressive; as of yet, we have not witnessed this behaviour here at the sanctuary.

“However, it is vitally important that his adopter knows that he may well be a bit of a challenge…but we all love a challenge, right?

“Please help Perry find the forever home he deserves.”
