AN annual food festival is returning next month to Didcot.

The Didcot Food Festival will take place in the civic hall in Britwell Road from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25.

It is organised by Great British Bake Off quarter-finalist, Christine Wallace, and features over 50 exhibitors of fine food, drink, street food and skills demos.

There will be a line-up of chefs from Great British Bake Off, Masterchef and local hotels and restaurants to feature in the “great demonstration theatre”.

This year’s festival will also be opened by English actress and singer, Su Pollard, best known for her role in the 1980’s sitcom Hi-de-Hi!
