Chipping Norton School celebrated "a tremendous set of examination results".

Some 39% of all grades were A* or A; 69% of all grades were A* to B; 92% of all grades were A* to C  and 100% of all grades were A* to E.

Headteacher, Barry Doherty said: “Our community deserves this day after the challenges of the last few years.

"Our headline figures represent and celebrate the remarkable efforts of our highly talented students and their incredible teachers.

“These results are significantly higher than the most recent A level examination results, sat in 2019.”

Head of Sixth Form Peter Ward added: "Whilst grades matter, we know that their destinations are of equal if not greater importance and in this regard we are again delighted to share news of their successes. We are so proud of them all.”

Oxford Mail:

The school mentioned students who, between them, achieved 32 A* and A grades: Oli Ball, Georgia Bell, Jake Briggs, Karina Graham, Rose Heppell, Zach Ibrahim, Anya Kennedy, Dan Large, Olivia Riley and Satu Noble.

“Once again, a large proportion of our students have met offers for Russell Group universities, such as Jake Petyt who will be studying Chemistry with a year in industry at Cardiff and Elinor Tomalin taking up her place for medicine at Hull York Medical School.

"Other students who have confirmed places at their first-choice university include Ellie Shurmer who will study forensic psychology at Worcester. Elizabeth Ledgard-Hoile has secured a coveted place on the Dyson Institute’s degree apprenticeship.”
