A woman was fined and given six points on her licence after being caught driving well over the speed limit.

Hollyanda Brooks, 25, admitted speeding on the A41 Bicester on October 27 2021, when she was caught on manned equipment driving over the limit.

Brooks, of Park Hill, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, was driving at 79 miles per hour on the road where the speed limit is 50 miles per hour.

At Oxfordshire Magistrates’ Court on May 24 2022 she was fined £311 and ordered to pay court costs of £90 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £34, making a total of £435, and her licence was also endorsed with six points.

Her guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.
