A GRADE II listed building in Oxfordshire has been “significantly” damaged by a group of teenagers.

The Mill, in Mapledurham, was damaged on Sunday at about 5.25pm. It is an historic watermill builty in the 15th century and houses a micro-electric power station.

Police believe the damage was caused by a group of youths which have been identified to be 15 to 16 years old.

It is believed to be a group of five boys and one girl and they are believed to originate from the Purley area.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police South Oxon and Vale of White Horse said: “If you have any information regarding this incident, call us on 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43220363245.”
