One of the two mental health workers injured in a stabbing in Oxford yesterday, a 29 year old man, has been discharged from hospital.

His colleague, a 44-year-old man, remains at the John Radcliffe Hospital, in Headington, in a serious but stable condition.

The two men were stabbed at a flat in Celadine Place, Greater Leys, during a community visit.

Police have arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been detained at a secure hospital under the Mental Health Act.
