TEMPORARY traffic lights near an Oxfordshire roundabout are expected to cause delays in traffic.

The lights, which are installed on the A4130 westbound approached the Milton Interchange in Didcot, are due to some gas works which are being carried out by Energetics Gas Limited (EGL).

Oxfordshire County Council, the highways authority, provided permission for the work which is due to finish on Friday, September 16 at 5pm.

The two-way traffic signals caused traffic this morning (12) with stop, start delays for a mile in both directions.

There will also be some lane closures at the end of the month on A34 northbound and southbound West Isley to Milton for barrier works from August 22 until August 25.
