Greggs in Cornmarket in Oxford has now been closed for a whole week and there are no signs yet that it will reopen soon.
The national chain's busy bakeries are famous for their sausage rolls - but customers have been asked to go elsewhere at lunchtime, as the branch is temporarily closed.
A sign on the door said: "Sorry, we've had to temporarily close this shop, we'll be back soon! Our ovens are still baking at Cowley and Headington."

Some of the windows at the branch have been covered over and Greggs have not yet given a reason for the closure.
Last year the Cornmarket Greggs was closed for two months when there were problems caused by a collapsed sewer in the area.
There are no indications so far that there has been a repeat of the problem.
At the same time, shoppers say the Kidlington branch of Greggs has also been closed.

The Headington branch remains open, and expansion plans have been revealed.
A spokeswoman for Greggs last week would only say that the Cornmarket branch was 'temporarily closed' and declined to give any further information.
There were celebrations and queues when Greggs opened the branch in March 2020 - the first in the city centre.
It features a spacious seating area upstairs.

The difficulties caused by the collapsed sewer forced the branch to close on August 17 and it didn't reopen until November.
There have not been any major problems since - until now.
