Harvester in Didcot turning into Miller & Carter steakhouse

Harvester, in Milton Gate, announced it would be “closed for good” last week. The website says: “We have now closed our doors as a Harvester restaurant to make way for something new and exciting.”

Mitchells & Butlers, who own the restaurant chain, have confirmed it will now be turned into a branch of Miller & Carter Steakhouse.

A spokesperson said: “From time to time we review our estate and take the decision to convert a business to another of our successful brands.

“We’re excited to announce that we will be converting the Harvester into a brand-new Miller & Carter due to open by the end of September 2022.”

The company has redirected “Harvester fans” to its nearest branch in London Road, Wheatley.
