Three cars crashed near the Headington roundabout this morning causing delays for drivers.
The accident happened before 7am on the westbound carriageway of the A40, near the McDonald's restaurant.
The collision blocked the road for a short time before the vehicles were removed.
No-one from South Central Ambulance was available to comment on the extent of the drivers' injuries.
Drivers across the county had to take extra care during the rush-hour as thick fog covered the area. The weather is expected to clear by mid-morning.
