A BIG cat has been reported walking across a field near Standlake.
John Sansome, from Kennington, spotted what he believes was a black panther as he drove out of the village towards Abingdon.
Mr Sansome said the animal was definitely not a dog and had 'a long tail and curved back'.
The sighting took place at about 5pm on Tuesday, February 12.
The RSPCA advises anyone coming into contact with a big cat should call its advice line, on 0300 1234 555.
