A lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a three-vehicle collision on the A34 today.
The northbound stretch of the A34 between Weston-on-the-Green and junction nine with M40 is expected to remain closed until 5pm.
A woman in her 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries and her injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
A man also suffered minor injuries in the collision, which involved a Renault Espace people carrier, a Renault Scenic, and a lorry at about 1pm today.
Motorists are being diverted via the B430 towards Middleton Stoney.
