Two burglars were disturbed as they ransacked a house near Didcot.
Police are appealing for information after the two men were found in a house in Church Street, Upton, on Thursday at about 10.30pm. Details were only released today.
Residents were woken by a noise and went downstairs to find the two men in the house.
They told the burglars to leave and the pair fled taking cash and bank cards.
Dc Rob Underhill said: "I'm appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact the police."
