POLICE are considering setting up a new neighbourhood policing base just off the M40 in north Oxfordshire.
Sgt Dave Hibbert said he had submitted plans to locate both the Bicester Rural and Banbury rural policing teams at a new office at the Travelodge, at Cherwell Valley Motorway Services at Junction 10 of the M40, at Ardley.
He said: "We believe this will allow them to work even closer together, and provide a more accessible team."
