A “MAGICAL” summer event for children is returning to an adventure at Stonor Park this summer.
The event, named “Sparkle Bright at Tumblestone Hollow”, will run from Monday, August 1 to Sunday, September 4.
It aims to bring the playground’s “mystical characters” to life with storytelling sessions on offer throughout the day of Tumblestone Hollow’s two children’s books, The Legend of Tumblestone Hollow and The Moon Witch And The Thief.

William Stonor, custodian of Stonor Park, near Henley, said: “We’re delighted to bring back the Sparkle Bright event this summer.
“It went down extremely well with guests last year and provides a much-needed day out for families, especially those seeking fun, lots of adventure and delicious food.”
The Rumble Hut, outdoor pizza eatery , will be serving authentic Italian pizzas with “mouth-watering toppings”, cooked in a wood-fire Gozney oven by Italian chef Salvatore.
There will also be handmade burgers, soft-whip ice cream and other refreshments also available.
The adventure playground first opened at Easter last year. It has high level walkways, climbing nets, look-out decks, bridges and slides, all connected by a “quirky, gnarled central tower”.
Mr Stonor added: “Sparking the imaginations of children and adding magic to their day is so important to us.

“The books we created with Amy Sparkes and Steve Pearce play a big role within the playground, and we hope the storytellers and characters will add a special touch and create an immersive experience, in our much-loved playground.”
