Thieves have broken into a shipping container and stolen a tonne’s worth of pheasant feed.

Thames Valley Police believe the theft happened between July 10 and 15.

The offenders are thought to have cut the padlock to the shipping container, which was located in a rural part of Appleton Upper Common, in order to steal the 40 bags of pheasant feed.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “If you have any information about this crime call 101 quoting 43220312140 or pass the info to Crimestoppers.”
