AN animal sanctuary is hosting a fun day this weekend to raise money for the charity.

Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary, in Watlington Road, Stadhampton, is hosting “The BIG Santuary Fun Day” on Sunday (17) from 1.30pm to 4pm.

The event, which is free to attend, will include food, soft drinks, a tea tent, live music, a raffle, and a tombola.

There will also be “new and improved” cchildren’s games such as “Tin Can Alley”, soft archery, a basketball challenge, “Price is Right”, a giant Jenga and more.

Due to welfare reasons, no animals can be viewed on the day. The Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary admits and rehomes around 500 animals every year.

Since opening in 1967, we have proudly managed to help over 27,500 animals find their forever home.
