A DRIVER was taken to hospital after colliding with a tree.

The crash took place on the A418 in Tiddington, near Thame, on Saturday, at about 8pm. Police said a black BMW left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver of the vehicle, aged in his 20s, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains. Three other occupants of the vehicle were not injured.

Investigating officer, PC Mark Jones, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“I’d also ask any motorists who were in the local area around the time of the collision to check dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist the investigation.
