A flash mob is set to take place in a town high street as part of a larger festival to celebrate the arts.

The dance will break out on Sheep Street, Bicester, between 10am and 10:30am on Saturday July 16.

Daniel Browne, who delivers Groove Aerobics dance classes at Bicester Golf Club, has choreographed the dance moves for the flash mob.

He has uploaded a ‘learn at home’ video on the event page on Facebook, for those who want to learn the dance steps and get involved on the day.

Mr Browne said: “Let's put Bicester on the map and get people grooving, from Couch to Move to Groove.”

Bicester Festival Committee Member David Thompson said: “Daniel is an inspiration chap, and I thought it would be good to do the flash mob again this year.”
