Tom Cruise will celebrate his 60th birthday with pals at Soho Farmhouse this weekend, according to reports.

British friends, including best mate Simon Pegg, and TV host James Corden, will enjoy a curry at a privately hired barn at the A-list haunt near Chipping Norton, the Daily Mail reported.

David and Victoria Beckham, who live close to the modern country club, may also be guests.

Oxford Mail:

It was rumoured in 2020 that Mr Cruise had adopted a low-calorie, low-carb diet devised by his ultra-fit Mr Beckham, allegedly restricting himself to 1,200 calories a day in a bid to stay trim.

The final bill, which will include food, drink and accommodation, looks likely to top £200,000, said the paper.

Mr Cruise has been a member of Soho House for 20 years, and has rented a house in the UK since 2016, most recently in Kent.

Having just starred in the long-awaited Top Gun sequel (no less than 36 years after the original) and with the seventh Mission Impossible film slated for release in 2023, Mr Cruise is certainly not taking his foot off the pedal as he enters his 60s on July 3.

Oxford Mail:

Ever the action hero, he is still performing death-defying feats on the big screen, bringing in the big bucks at the box office, and looking suave on the red carpet.

He has made numerous films in the UK and is so close to Mission:Impossible co-star Mr Pegg that Mr Pegg’s wife refers to Mr Cruise as his ‘boyfriend’, said the Mail.

Mr Cruise is a fitness fanatic, and has said he travels with a gym to every set – something he calls the ‘pain cave’. In addition to weighted workouts and hitting the treadmill, he incorporates a variety of pursuits into his fitness routine – such as sea-kayaking, caving and fencing.

As well as enjoying adrenaline-fueled activities in his downtime, he famously performs all his own stunts on-screen, including scaling the world’s tallest building – the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
