Luckily, the driver of the vehicle had not parked in their normal place and this prevented the fire from spreading to neighbouring cars and a barn on the site.

The fire was extinguished by a breathing apparatus crew who used a high pressure hose reel jet.

The fire is believed to be accidental.

A spokesperson for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said: “It is important though that if you notice anything wrong with your car or smell anything strange to pull over when safe to do so and safely inspect it.”
