A man has been slapped with a domestic violence protection order.

Richard Harrison, 53, was served with the notice by a constable on June 12.

Domestic violence protection order made for 28 days for the protection of the victim.

During the length of the order, Harrison must not:

  • Contact the victim directly or indirectly by any means
  • Threaten the victim with violence or the use of violence
  • Threaten to cause damage to any property belonging to the victim
  • Behave in a way that would cause the victim to fear the use of violence, or in a way that would cause any other person to fear that violence would be used
  • Act in an aggressive, threatening or abusive manner towards the victim

Harrison is also banned from entering, coming with 200 meters of, or evicting the victim from an address listed on a court document.
