POLICE officers desperately hunting for a miniature digger have found it nearly 50 miles away.

Two men are currently being questioned over the theft.

Thames Valley Police officers, based in South Oxfordshire, said they tracked down the mini digger from where it was taken in Tetsworth, Thame, all the way to Tottenham, London.

The team said they also found a van and trailer which they suspect had been stolen too.

A video taken by police and shared on Twitter shows all three items being loaded onto the back of a van yesterday afternoon ready to be taken for more investigations.

Writing online, PS Maris said: “The digger, a suspected stolen trailer and a van were recovered from a residential property near Tottenham. Two males arrested and in custody.”
