PARENTS have rated a village preschool as one of top 20 nurseries in the South East.

Culham Village Nursery and Preschool in High Street, Culham, near Abingdon, was placed in the top 20 out of 2,065 early years settings.

It has received an award from the review site, “daynurseries”, where parents reviewed the schools based on overall standard, facilities and outside space, learning, resources and equipment and ICT, care, activities, staff, food and nutrition, management, cleanliness, safeguarding as well as value for money.

Nikki Durkin, nursery manager, said: “The team and I are delighted to be recognised for the hard work and fantastic childcare we provide at our lovely little Village Nursery.
