Ambulance service staff were treated to a day of outdoor activities at a luxury hotel resort in Oxfordshire.

On Monday, June 20 the South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) visited Bicester Hotel & Spa for a day of activities.

These included raft building – in which every team was successful in keeping their raft afloat, and an assault course, with monkey bars, balancing beams and high rope climbs.

After the more physical activities, the group were able to gently paddle board down the 200-metre lake in the sunshine and finish off the day with a buffet at the Performance Centre Café.

Bicester Hotel & Spa’s Resort Sales manager Lee Wood said: “Each and every staff member from SCAS deserve a day out like today, the effort they put into their work is simply outstanding.”
