A PRISONER has been jailed for 27 weeks after assaulting two prison officers by beating them.

Kieron Agnew-Harris, 20, of HMP Bullingdon, Bicester, admitted assault by beating of two emergency workers at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, London, on September 2.

He was jailed for 27 weeks, with his guilty plea taken into account when imposing sentencing.

Agnew-Harris’ case was heard at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on June 9.

About 1,200 men live at Wormwood Scrubs, a Victorian men’s prison in west London, in a mixture of single and shared rooms.

There are five main wings, in addition to a number of specialist units.
