If you are currently throwing a bag together to take to the Glastonbury Festival, advice is to pack light and check what is and isn’t permitted on site

When you arrive, security will check your car and your bags for contraband, and you’ll then need to carry your belongings a long way to a camping spot so bringing only the essentials will make the whole arrival process a lot easier and quicker.

In recent years, some festival-goers have taken to covering bags with plastic wrap, however this will all need to be taken off for the searches so, to save time and waste, event organisers recommend not putting it on in the first place.
