Jurors have been sworn in the trial of a teenager accused of robbery.
Leon Dine, 19, of Yarnton Road, Kidlington, denies allegations he robbed a man of a coat and bank cards and was in possession of a knife in an alleyway off Green Road on September 25, 2020.
A panel of 12 jurors was sworn-in at Oxford Crown Court yesterday afternoon in front of Judge Nigel Daly.
The jury swore their oath or affirmation after hearing the defendant’s name read out by prosecutor Edward Culver together with a number of other names, which they were asked if they recognised, and the alleyway location of the alleged robbery.
Mr Culver is expected to open the matter to the jury later this morning. The trial continues.
