Staff are now hoping to bring some of the residents down to watch local matches when the season starts again in the autumn.

The team, who play in the Oxfordshire Girls purple league, came to Merryfield House to have their photograph taken in their new kit.

Claire O’Sullivan, Merryfield administrator, said: “It is important for our residents to have as much interaction as possible with people and they are looking forward to seeing more of the girls in the coming months.”
