GLEDIAN BUSHI, 24, of Bennett Crescent, Oxford, was found guilty of driving a car in Windale Avenue, Oxford, on September 25 last year while using a mobile phone. He was fined £200 and given three penalty points, but spared an automatic six month driving disqualification having ‘totted-up’ six points. The court record noted that he would lose his job as a delivery driver if he were banned. The loss of his licence would also affect his mother and younger brother. He was ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

CHARLIE YOUNG, 23, of Boswell Road, Oxford, was found guilty of driving a Ford Focus in Leckford Road in December 2020 while unfit through drives. He was fined £200, banned from the roads for a year and must pay £334 in costs and surcharge.

CHARY GURBANOV, 38, of Bath Crescent, Bicester, admitted speeding on the A41 near Bicester. He was caught doing 90mph in the 50 zone on July 12 last year. He was fined £500, banned from the roads for 21 days and must pay £140 in costs and surcharge.

SAMUEL O’NEILL, 28, of Goff Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to doing 87mph on the A41 at Bicester last July. The road has a 50mph speed limit. The magistrates banned him from driving for 14 days, fined him £651 and ordered he pay £155 in costs and surcharge.

BRENDAN MCLAUGHLIN, 43, of Bailiff Street, Northampton, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Transit on Wayland Road, Oxford, on November 5 last year while over the limit for alcohol and drug benzoylecgonine. He was fined £1,000, banned from the roads for two years and must pay £185 in costs and surcharge.

JACK BAILEY, 19, of Hazeldene Close, Eynsham, admitted drink driving a Skoda Fabia in Coxwell Road, Faringdon, on October 30 last year. He was fined £120, banned from driving for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

RICHARD FOX, 46, of Station Road, Bampton, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Vauxhall Vivaro in Lechlade on April 26. He was fined £400, banned from driving for 14 months and must pay £125 in costs and surcharge.

TIA ROWE, 18, of Fane Drive, Berinsfield, admitted being twice over the drink drive limit when she was stopped behind the wheel of a Citroen C1 in Shadwell Road, Wallingford, in April. She also admitted driving without a valid licence or insurance. She was fined £100, banned from driving for a year and a half and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

IBTEHAJ HAQUE, 24, of Timothy Way, Oxford, was fined £80 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge after admitting cannabis possession.

RYN MCNEISH, 24, of Swinfen, near Lichfield, admitted common assault of a police officer in Oxford on April 14 last year and doing £143-worth of damage to a Thames Valley Police door. He was ordered to pay £100 in compensation to the officer and £143 to the police force.
