Two more teenagers have been arrested in connection with an ‘attempted murder’ stabbing.

On Saturday (June 11) a 21-year-old man was left fighting for his life after he was stabbed in People’s Park, Banbury at around 4pm. READ MORE about this here>>>

He remains in hospital, now in a stable condition.

A 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy, both from Banbury, are in now in custody.

A warrant of further detention has been granted for three other boys who are also being quizzed by the police - a 15-year-old boy from Oxford, and two 16-year-old boys from Banbury.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Anyone with any information relating to the incident is urged to call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43220255119, or alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
